About voip phone system

All About VoIP Phone System:-

VoIP is short for Voice over Internet Protocol. This is a type of communication system that allow transmission of sound much like a telephone system through IP networks like packet-switches or Internet networks.

There are now a lot of software that offers this technology such as Skype and yahoo messenger. However, there are service providers that will provide with the gadgets. You can still use a regular telephone but it now uses this technology.

How It Was Propelled To Existence:-

It was first introduced in 1974 but it was not until 2004 that it became more widespread. The big developments only started this year due to the increasing demand of more affordable means of communications. Because broadband Internet services became more competent, VoIP became more commercialized. Now, there are more features incorporated such as unlimited local calls. Cheaper rates were offered for international calls. Also, cheaper prices were offered to those that use the same VoIP provider.

How To Connect:-

The first way to connect is through the use of a telephone adapter. If you have a telephone jack at home and broadband modem, you can connect using a telephone jack. Usually, this type of service and the parts needed are provided by your internet service provider.

There are also ways to connect without the use of computers. This is through direct connection to Wireless Fidelity network. This also works with a company. You need to sign up for a service plan from an Internet provider. If you are using wireless internet connection, you can ask your provider how to sign up for this.

The last way is to use a digital phone. You can install this directly to you computer even without the existence of a dedicated hardware such as those mentioned above.

The Advantages:-

Like what I mentioned earlier, one of its benefits is the cost. It allows you to have internal communications like conference calling and call forwarding. It uses much the same billing process as Internet so you are using it and not worrying about time meters. Telephone bills are billed per second you use the line while in this case, it is billed a fixed monthly charge depending on your MB subscription.
